Our 2026 “Dig & Set” Services
We offer three levels of service to match your DIY needs:
Dig Only: We arrive, drill the holes to a precise 42″ depth (below frost line), and move to the next. You handle the posts and concrete.
Dig & Set: We drill the holes, then plumb and set your provided posts in high-strength concrete.
The Deck Pier Special: Precise drilling for 10″ or 12″ sonotubes, ensuring your deck foundation is perfectly level and stable.
2026 Pricing Guide (Standard Residential)
Prices are based on standard 8″ or 10″ holes at 42″ depth.

Q: Do you call for utility locates?
A: The homeowner is responsible for the initial request at utilitysafety.ca, but we can help walk you through the process. It takes about 3–5 business days, so plan ahead!
Q: Do you supply the posts?
A: In our “Dig & Set” package, the customer typically supplies the posts (4×4 or 6×6) so they match your specific lumber preference, while we supply the concrete and equipment.
Q: What if you hit a big rock?
A: Our hydraulic augers can handle most Edmonton “river rocks.” If we hit a major boulder or abandoned concrete, we will work with you to shift the post location or provide specialized removal.
