Wow Services Privacy Policy
Wow Services respects your privacy and wants you to enjoy a comfortable and secure experience with us. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and (under limited circumstances) share your information. Wow Services is a world class marketing and sales solutions company that provides integrated, multi-channel communications strategies, self-service client technology platforms and complete, in-depth data analytics to help achieve revenue goals for our Clients and Partners across a variety of industries. We operate our websites www.wowservices.ca and also ad hoc microsites and landing pages on behalf of Clients (collectively, the Sites). If you choose to visit any of the Sites, your visit and the associated information we collect is subject to this Privacy Policy (“Policy”). This privacy policy has been developed in conjunction with PrivacyTrust, a leading online privacy organization to inform you of the information we collect and how it is used.
Categories of Information That We Collect:
Personal Information
We receive and collect personally identifiable information – such as name, job title, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and postal addresses – from visitors to the Sites when they (i) submit inquiries or requests to us, (ii) become registered users of the Sites, (iii) sign up to receive newsletters or bulletins from us, or (iv) choose to provide information to us for some other reason. Visitors can choose not to provide their personal information, but that decision may limit our ability to contact them and our ability to provide services to them, or respond to their inquiries. Also, please note that if a visitor has provided us with a postal address, an e-mail address, or a telephone number, a Wow Services representative may contact them unless they have requested that we place them on our do-not-contact list, see “Obtaining Information From Us & Communicating With Us” below.
Website Usage Information
Wow Services may save information on your system in the form of a small text file that is stored on your hard drive known as a “cookie” to access secure information or to better track usage of Sites. We may use session ID cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on the Sites. Wow Services use cookies and other navigational data that is passively collected to gather information concerning the usage of the Site by that visitor, including but not limited to the visitor’s Internet domain and/or IP address, information concerning the visitor’s browser, and other access-related information. We also may assemble aggregate information (information obtained by compiling information from many different visitors) as to which pages a visitor accesses on the Site. We use this information in connection with developing, delivering and improving our services for our Clients and Partners. The information collected is not analyzed in a way that would reveal the identity of the individual browsing the Sites. If a visitor rejects cookies, they may still use the Sites, but their ability to use some Sites areas’, such as contests or surveys, will be limited.
Client Information
We collect information (such as contact, billing, account, and business data) under the direction of our Clients and this data is used to offer products, fulfill orders, respond to customer service request and administer customer accounts. The use of information collected through our Client service is limited to the purpose of providing that Client service. Visitors who are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by them should contact the Client directly.
Business information
Wow Services collect information on businesses and business professionals from company websites, vendors, public records and third party suppliers including company statistics such as employee numbers, geographic locations and contact information.
Supplemental Information
We may obtain personally identifiable and other information about visitors from our subsidiary companies, business partners, vendors or Clients and add it to information that they have previously provided to us in order to serve them better. From time to time, we may compare our contact lists to lists received from our subsidiary companies, third party service providers or Clients to try to avoid sending visitors unwanted, unnecessary or duplicative messages. We may also utilize and incorporate information from other sources to update and supplement information concerning visitors. All such combined, updated, and supplemented information will be handled consistent with this Policy.
Use of Collected Information:
Any personally identifiable information provided will be used by us or our service providers or vendors in connection with providing services for and communicating with visitors including processing any requests or inquiries that they initiate. Our service providers or vendors may not use visitor information for their own marketing purposes.
The use of information collected through a Site operated for a Client is limited to the purpose of providing the services for the Client. Wow Services will display relevant ads tailored to visitors based on (i) visits to our Sites (ii) key words that you search for and (iii) the content topics of web pages you visit. We will share the data needed to do this with third parties for this purpose, and for aggregate market analysis purposes.
We may share the information provided by visitors to third parties, who use this information to recognise you across different channels and platforms over time for advertising, analytics, attribution, and reporting purposes. If we decide to offer visitors the opportunity to “opt-in” for data sharing with third parties, we will only share their data consistent with that visitor’s opt-in preferences and visitors may subsequently “opt-out” by seeing “Obtaining Information From Us & Communicating With Us” below.
Business information will be used for marketing activities and may from time to time be licensed to authorized third party businesses for marketing purposes.
Third-Parties
In order to operate our websites and provide services, we may provide personally identifiable, aggregate and other information associated to third parties that provide services for us, including services such as payment processing, database management, sending emails and professional services. We endeavor to require such third-party service providers to confirm that their privacy practices including onward transfer to sub-processors are consistent with this Policy. On occasion, we may also share personally identifiable and other information concerning a visitor with our affiliates (such as a subsidiary or affiliate of our company) in which case we require our affiliates to honor this Policy, and also Clients in furtherance of our operations and as needed to implement visitor request.
Consent to Transfer, Processing and Storage of Personal Information
As Wow Services is a global organization, we may transfer your Personal Information to Wow Services in the United States of America, to any Wow Services subsidiary worldwide, or to third parties acting on our behalf, for the purposes of processing or storage. By providing any Personal Information to us, you fully understand and unambiguously consent to the transfer, processing and storage of such information outside of your country of residence where data protection standards may be different. Our Privacy Statement and our practices are designed to provide a globally consistent level of protection for Personal Information all over the world. This means that even in countries whose laws provide for less protection for your information, Wow Services will still handle your information in the manner described here.

Industry Standard Practices
Wow Services follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal and other information covered by this Policy. We have training and policies and procedures in place to address the security of our workplaces and the integrity and protection of electronic records stored in our systems. Wow Service’s systems uses firewalls and Secure Socket Layers to help protect and safely transmit information.

The Sites may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by us. In addition, visitors may have linked to the Sites from other websites that are not owned or controlled by us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other such websites, and this Policy applies only to information collected by us in connection with the Sites we operate.
Social Media Features
The Sites may include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Sites, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Sites. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
Data Retention
We will retain personal data we collect from visitors as well as data we process on behalf of our Customers for as long as needed provide our services to our visitors and Customers. We will retain and use information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Change of Control
In the event of a merger or acquisition of our company, the sale of substantially all of its assets related to the operation of the Sites, or other change of corporate control, all information concerning visitors would be transferred to or controlled by the successor entity. Such information would remain subject to the principles and guidelines set forth in our Policy.
Privacy of Children
Wow Services does not intentionally collect information from persons under the age of 13. Our Sites are not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

Access to Data Controlled by our Clients
Wow Services has a direct relationship with some of the individuals whose personal data it processes, but in many cases Wow Services does not have a direct relationship with individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Wow Services Client as well as Wow Services. If the client requests Wow Services to remove the data, Wow Services will respond to the Client’s access request within 30 business days.
